故事发生在一个虚构的奇幻世界之中，在这里，人类不再被局限于陆地之上，而是可以自由的翱翔在天空中。地域的不受限促使一种名为“飞翔马戏团”的运动诞生了。少年日向晶也（逢坂良太 配音）曾经是这一领域内的种子选手，被寄予厚望，然而，在一次惨败之后，晶也彻底放弃了梦想和希望，之后一直都过着浑浑噩噩的生活。 一次偶然中，晶也和一位名为仓科明日香（福圆美里 配音）的转校生相遇了，在明日香的引导和鼓励之下，晶也对于飞翔马戏团运动的热情被重新点燃。然而，他离开赛场已经太久了，再度回到舞台的中心，他能否恢复曾经的强劲实力呢？。Marine scientist Fred Miller designs the world's first underwater home, but when the business magnate funding his work threatens to end the project, Miller volunteers to live in it with his own family to prove it's practical. The underwater clan includes his water-phobic wife and his daughter and son, who are part of a rock and roll band. They bring along the lead singer and drummer. Along the way, they have to contend with a competing engineer who promises to mine the ocean floor for the businessman. A record producer likes their music and books them on TV, leading the kids to try to escape to the surface.。叶一龙（马景涛 饰）和秦阿牛（岳跃利 饰）本是情同手足的兄弟，两人于偶然之中得到了一批价值连城的黄金，可是，秦阿牛的贪婪连累叶一龙丢掉了性命，叶一龙的妻子因此发了疯。 一晃眼多年过去，叶一龙的儿子刘寒星（马景涛 饰）已经长大成人，他回到了风起云涌的上海滩，决心为父报仇。在火车上，刘寒星结识了名为田晓晴（周海媚 饰）的女子，两人情投意合，情愫暗生。刘寒星得知曾经的秦阿牛正是如今一手遮天的大亨秦啸天，于是隐姓埋名加入了秦啸天旗下的银行，这一举动引起了秦啸天大儿子秦守成（孙兴 饰）的不满。让刘寒星没有想到的是，温婉善良的田晓晴其实是秦啸天的养女，一段纠葛复杂的爱恨情仇就此展开。。
