本节目是为了创造Mbitious这个团队，在48个小时的限定时间内，包含了40名舞者的选拔过程。。《2019湖南卫视中秋之夜》以“向月亮许个愿”为主题，将摒弃以往传统的晚会模式，创新性地将音乐剧、话剧等舞台剧的表现形式结合各种电视文艺手段，采用影视剧的拍摄手法，力求给观众奉上一台观感上完全不一样的“中秋之夜”。。the story “centers on a hard-drinking, promiscuous salesman who becomes a quadriplegic after a tragic accident and struggles to come to terms with his predicament and with his future.”。
