Stan deals with the difficul t losses of family and friends all while helping to create the hydrogen bomb and the first computer. 波兰科学家乌兰姆于上世纪30年代移居到美国，他在帮助科研团队制作氢弹的过程中，他还要处理和面对一些个人得失。。田梦儿和田星儿是双胞胎姐妹，五岁的时候，两人跟父母走散，落入坏人的手中。妹妹田星儿由于太过幼小害怕，被李少歌发现，抓了回去，从而深陷罪恶的深渊。而姐姐田梦儿则在危急关头，被好心人杜建华所救。两姐妹由此走上了完全不同的人生。
