Supported by rich archival materials and in depth interviews with individuals crucial to the evolution of a way of life--and the outsiders who studied and admired them--Fresh Dres...。工藤の長編3作目「遠いところ」は、沖縄の若年層の実態を描いた物語。沖縄の子供の困窮した状況、DV、シングルマザーの様子を追ったルポルタージュに工藤が自身の生い立ちを重ね合わせたことから企画が生まれ、独自に取材を重ね全編沖縄で撮影した。。来自柬埔寨的鹏，自少被送到黑市拳馆厮杀生存，个性好勇斗狠，像野兽般的残暴；出身香港的重案组探员伟，行事偏激，不听指挥，投入查案时的蛮劲像头野兽。 一兵一贼各走极端，却因为一宗法官太太被买凶谋杀案而碰头，二人互相追捕互相角力，更以暴易暴，伟的同僚逐一被鹏所杀，伟的怒火怨恨燃至沸点，狗咬狗般的厮杀一发不可收拾。。
