该剧改编自姜昌来作家的同名随笔，是一本为患癌症的妻子做料理时写下的笔记。讲述丈夫为被诊断为晚期癌症的妻子准备饭桌，逐渐恢复关系的家庭故事。。Edwin Antony (Hywel Bennett) is emasculated in an accident which kills a young philanderer. Doctors successfully replace his member with that of the dead man, but refuse to tell him the full story of the organ's origin. So Edwin begins a search which takes him to the philanderer's wife - and also to his many, many girlfriends...
