故事讲述了空降未成年人检察部的主任雷旭（张译饰），与未检检察官都子瑜（秦岚饰）、书记员杨甜（徐帆饰）、法警徐张荔（王真儿饰）、及检察官助理刘柳（邹元清饰）在办理未成年人案件的同时，深掘案件背后的真相，同心呵护少年、以爱浇灌未来的故事。。The film is based loosely around events in December 1995 that culminated in the murders of three drug dealers in Rettendon, Essex, UK.
