Horizon has gathered the world's leading experts on Mars and asked them: where would they go, if they got the chance - and what would they need to surviv...。位于泰国伊桑地区的某个村落，是一个现代文明鲜少浸染的所在。一支纪录片团队辗转来到此地，希望记录下某个萨满家族守护神传承的事迹。被拍摄的主角名叫尼姆（萨尼·乌托玛饰），她的家族信奉巴扬神。虽然是被巴扬神选为的第三代萨满巫师，但是这个位置原本应有尼姆的姐姐诺伊（SIRANI YANKITTIKAN 饰）担任。但是诺伊不堪其苦，想方设法让妹妹顶替了自己，而她则转而信奉基督教，过起了普通人的生活。此去经年，巴扬神似乎将下一任萨满巫师的人选锁定在诺伊美丽女儿敏（纳瑞拉·库尔蒙科尔佩特饰）的身上。 可就在这一过程中，围绕着敏却发生了种种诡异离奇的事情。似乎除了巴扬神之外，还有另外的恐怖存在想要侵入进来……。萨姆失去了最亲爱的爱人，生活变得混沌不清。母亲建议他到一处林中小屋放松一下。但在那片森林里，似乎有某种邪灵，它以悲伤为食，将脆弱的心灵扭曲成迷幻的地狱景象，饥肠辘辘地等待着萨姆。。。。
