本武俠片為1969年華語電影票房亞軍，亦是「金燕子」鄭佩佩（分飾樊瑛、青兒）代表作之一，由有“百萬導演”之稱的羅維執導，主要演員包括鄭之老拍檔岳華（天涯客），康華（毒龍潭主）、黃宗迅（唐大川）及羅烈（虞江）等。故事描述，樊瑛受歹徒唐大川欺騙，盜去師父的玉龍劍後，生有一子一女；後樊遭師罰禁毒龍潭，唐抱子虞江逃走，女青兒則歸師公門下；二十年後，劍再被盜，青女扮男裝，私下尋劍，卻遇樊舊友天涯客……。崔承熙（金来沅饰）原本是前途一片光明的新晋导演，有着一鸣惊人的处女作以及拉得一手漂亮小提琴的漂亮女友惠秀（郑丽媛饰），人生对他一直都是展开笑脸。直到他驾驶的私家车遭遇车祸，惠秀命送黄泉，承熙的人生也停止了。从此他颓废不堪，停止了所有的创作和与友人的交往，远离人群去往山区。 但是就在这偏远落后的山区，他竟然遇见了惠秀一模一样的女孩！虽然她土气、不修边幅、但天真善良。福实（郑丽媛饰）16岁，对外面的世界都不懂，但是承熙的忧郁创痛深深吸引着她。 虽然有着一样的面孔，但福实毕竟不是惠秀，承熙能因为一张脸就爱上一个人吗？但他的确慢慢地在打开心扉……。In an inaccessible place between the mountains and isolated from the world, a school is located next to an old monastery.
