《联华交响曲》的第一个故事《两毛钱》更像是之前张石川的长片《压岁钱》的短片缩影，通过一张两毛钱的纸币流通对照出当时生活贫富悬殊的状况。第二部作品《春闺断梦》体现出费穆导演的大师潜质，影片描写的是两个女人的梦境，强烈的光影效果、逼人的角色造型以及夸张的画面构图都让人感到明显的表现主义气息。由沈浮导演的《三人行》则是风格鲜明的底层生活喜剧。《陌生人》、《月下小景》及《疯人狂想曲》都是描写抗日的影片，却风格迥异，或直接或寓言，或激昂或悲伤，体现出导演不同的创作取向与个人表述方式。由商业片名导朱石麟拍摄的《鬼》虽然在题材上略显老套，其有条不紊的叙事节奏与玄机铺设却非常适应这类惊悚片的模式。最后一部是蔡楚生的《小五义》，影片以寓言的手法表现出当时中国的抗战形势，其组织了大量儿童演员的高潮段落也能够引起观众的兴奋，算是为整部“交响曲”压了一个好轴。。In upstate New York, two teenage boys are tasked with cleaning out their father's old mobile home on an abandoned property, but the boys are in for a surprise when they discover three crooks on the run have taken refuge in the trailer.。The Gathering will centre around a violent attack on a teenage girl during a rave on a tidal islet.
