A loose adaptation of Chekhov's Ivanov set in rural California. Anna is hosting a New Year's Eve party. Nina, a long gone friend from high school unexpectedly shows up, conjuring the feelings of another girl and bringing to the surface the inner lives of the ensemble: a gaggle of eccentric millennial party-goers.。Photographer Greg Nolan meets Bernice, and loses both his job and his apartment. However, Bernice manages to get him a new apartment, but it is so expensive that he has to get two full-time jobs. Nolan has trouble finding time to do them both without his bosses finding out.。
