本片根据天下霸唱小说《火神》改编，故事发生在民国年间九河下梢、鱼龙混杂的九河城，神偷钱不二意外获得警探身份，决心去救被捕在侦探社中的师弟侠盗张立三，却在上任之初就遇到了棘手的石化悬案。一名包工头在拆毁了火神庙后遭到“诅咒”，在众目睽睽之下成为一尊石像。随后火神的“诅咒”更是在全城蔓延，神偷钱不二、侠盗张立三、苏叶、小神婆半夏被迫卷入其中，开始寻找真相，并意外发现了魔古道筹划已久的惊天阴谋......。该片讲述毒贩抚养其劫持的女孩小安长大后，两人相爱并结为夫妇，在警察的追捕、黑帮追杀及小安父亲的怨恨等重重包围下试图绝境求生的故事。。In Mr Bigstuff, estranged brothers Glen a nervy perfectionist striving to live the suburban ideal and Lee an alpha male with a prescription drug addiction and a biscuit tin full of his Dad’s ashes.
