Things are going fine until horrible things starts to happened with the cast of her new play.。李燕南（陈厚饰）是歌舞团的钢琴师，而陈小芸（郑佩佩饰）则是歌手，两人相识多年，李燕南常常指点陈小芸的歌唱技巧，随着时间的推移，他们之间的感情渐渐加深。洪玲（杜娟饰）是歌舞团万众瞩目的女主角，恃才傲物的她要求加薪，并以罢工为威胁，哪知道李燕南找到了陈小芸，让她代替了洪玲的位置出演，就这样，一鸣惊人的陈小芸一夜成名，老板甚至解雇了再无价值的洪玲。 陈小芸的出众吸引了花花公子杜邦杰（蒋光超饰）的注意，很快他便对她展开了热烈的公式，虽然李燕南眼看着陈小芸就要被攻陷，内心非常的难过，但他还是选择默默守候。。
