《宣言》以50多个艺术家宣言为蓝本，设计了13个极具戏剧性的独白。在影片中布兰切特扮演着从新闻主播、流浪汉、摇滚明星、焊铁工人到芭蕾舞演员等不同的角色。这些迥异的角色将朗诵了13个艺术宣言，其中涉及到未来主义、达达主义、情境主义以及波普艺术宣言，以及来自克莱斯·奥登伯格、伊冯·雷奈尔、卡西米尔·马列维奇、安德列·布列东、伊莱恩·斯特蒂文特、索尔·勒维特等众多艺术家、建筑师、舞蹈演员以及导演的著名宣言。影片反思历史上性别、社会和政治背景对艺术的产生的影响。。“From Far Away” is a documentary dealing with a journey through Turkey.
