东日本大地震9年后的宫城县，发生了连环杀人案件，在警察笘篠（阿部宽饰）的追查中，因为帮朋友而引发纵火伤人事件入狱，现在刚出狱不久的利根（佐藤健饰）成为嫌疑人。在没有决定性证据的情况下，又发生了新的案件。。医生林瑜静和邻居张芬发生冲突吵架，之后张芬的孙子王小宝意外坠楼，林瑜静和母亲叶秀梅开车送王小宝去医院，路上却被跳广场舞的张芬阻拦。张芬不知道车内的孩子是王小宝，因为之前的冲突坚决不让林瑜静离开，最后甚至一路追到医院，导致王小宝治疗失败死亡。。Misrepresented, maligned and on the verge of extinction, the great white shark is an iconic predator: the creature we love to fear.
