影片讲述了方鸿、小光、小彬三位电视台记者深入以猴戏著称的障头村走访，却在进村之后连连遭遇怪事的故事。恐惧笼罩着村子里的人们，记者决心一探究竟，几经历险，最终查明了村子里出现的一系列怪事的真相。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
