鸿上美术馆内的石棺被意外打开，被封印了800年的“贪欲者”就此复活，贪欲者由核心硬币和细胞硬币构成，为了收集硬币，贪欲者制造出噬欲怪来吸收人类的欲望，从而转化为细胞硬币。贪欲者之一的安库因只复活了一条手臂而不得不依靠人类男子火野映司来帮助他收集硬币，映司从安库那拿到变身器和三枚核心硬币，变身为假面骑士欧兹！。木下薰20歲即將從女子短期大學畢業，開始找工作，因為家不是住在東京，多數東京的公司認為單身女子住在外，都不願聘請，老家的父母也希望女兒出嫁前能住在家裡，多一點時間相聚，一直逼她回家鄉，甚至幫她安排好工作，買了車子，但是還年輕的她想在東京試試看...。Kate Adie examines the impact of women's work on the Home Front during the First World War.
