小男孩没事（孙天宇 饰）跟养父罗秉文（黄磊 饰）相依为命。5岁时，没事语出惊人，说自己来自火星人，令其父很是无奈。罗秉文为某公司高级白领，风骚同事Tina（谢娜 饰）暗恋着他，不但暗送秋波还激情示爱，但均被罗秉文婉言谢绝。倒是顶头上司陆小凤（刘仪伟 饰）对她情有独钟。罗秉文喜欢的是没事的幼儿园老师陈雨（关悦 饰）。不过，没事整天闯祸，搞得两人焦头烂额，大家都开始相信没事是个火星人。财神（王晶 饰）跟陆小凤谈生意，其实另有图谋。他想骗钱十万，用于股市救急，没成想东窗事发。此时，没事离家出走，陆小凤和Tina刚找到他，就被财神一伙绑架了。财神发现了没事具有超能力的秘密，而罗秉文等人则要维护正义，一场对决就此展开……。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
