电影背景以1920年在中国吉林省凤梧洞联合独立军摧毁日军第19师团，取得巨大胜利的凤梧洞战斗，与青山里战争一同被誉为"独立运动史"为原型的故事。。寒假到了，婷婷从北京来到山东荣成的姑姑家，那里有一座美丽的天鹅湖，每到冬季，便汇集来成长千上万只过冬的天鹅。一天，婷婷和海生哥哥意外地发现了一只受伤的小天鹅。为救治和保护这只小天鹅，他们与偷猎者展开了机智的争夺，最终在大人们的帮助下抓获了偷猎者，将那只小天鹅重新放归大自然，放归到美丽的天鹅湖上。。U.S. version of the British show 'Love Island' where a group of singles come to stay in a villa for a few weeks and have to couple up with one another.
