A seasoned woman from the world of show business, recruits 11 Romanian dancers dreaming of fame and glory to take them to Paris. One of them decides to leave her husband, but he doesn't take it very well and starts on a journey to get back his wife and plenty of hilarious things happen along the way.。全片由《麻雀趣事》、《有口难言》、《圆谎记》三个独立故事构成：《麻雀趣事》通过上海顾客与广东伙计对话，探讨麻将牌的历史起源；《有口难言》聚焦民国初年女牙医与助手离奇死亡案件，受害者口中发现半截舌头；《圆谎记》描写元朗乡绅马大哈在英女皇访港期间因谎言陷入困境。。
