应届毕业生马志得到了一份工作，却在入职前意外被无所事事的大龄混混老刘碰瓷。为了让马志拿到工资以赔偿自己，老刘作为马志求职路上的保镖，陪伴马志展开了一场充满波折的入职之旅。 马志入职的工作单位天一集团的老总赵剑是个孝子，赵剑为病重的父亲请来手术的丁教授是个瘾君子。赵剑安排秘书郑蓉为丁教授购买毒品，而老刘在路上偷了毒贩坤哥的车，坤哥又偷了钻石王老五丁老板情人的豪车，一场大乌龙自此埋下伏笔。 另外，赵剑是马志的情敌，他将马志的女友于悦绑架到酒店，策划了一场阴谋，却又意外被老刘破坏… …。This is a story about people in love with cinema, and a country going through its most difficult times.
