Including a specially recorded dance sequence "in the style of Fosse....。1936年，太行山附近的杂技之乡来了一支日本的杂技表演团体“大和班”，他们前来与当地最为著名的杂技团体“永春班”和“华勇班”切磋技艺，可是竞技的背后却隐藏着很大的阴谋，并借机羞辱中国的国技杂技艺术。大和班通过奸诈手段接连打败了永春班和华勇班。抗日战争爆发，永春班的龙战海和华勇班的凤姑刘奎等人摒弃前嫌，联手抗敌，与大和班在擂台上几次较量，最终战胜了大和班，捍卫了中国杂技的荣誉，并配合八路军凤姑的小叔侯振国，粉碎了鬼子的阴谋。。
