叶青是华国农学专家，她的丈夫江硕家突发蝗灾，庄稼受灾严重，江硕和村里的乡亲们请叶青回去救灾。叶青救治过程中药方屡屡出现问题，使得庄稼被铺天盖地的蝗虫啃食。暴怒的村民将叶青囚禁起来虐杀而死。。Haunted by the death of his father and other psychological traumas, Daniel (Roberto Scorza) returns to the home where he was raised.
